Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, the spiritual leader of the world’s Ismailis, met with several senior Indian officials during his visit to New Delhi and discussed development and cultural cooperation.
According to published reports, Prince Rahim Aga Khan V met with Droupadi Murmu, the President of India. During the meeting, the Indian president praised Aga Khan’s activities and efforts in social development and humanitarian affairs.
Aga Khan also met with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, India’s Minister of External Affairs, and discussed the Aga Khan Development Network’s work in social development, cultural heritage preservation, and development-related cooperation.
The meetings took place as the Aga Khan Development Network has, for years, been active in various areas including social development, education, health, culture, and the preservation of historical heritage in different countries.
