A video released from the Al-Shajara area of Jordan shows several bright objects moving across the sky and explosions occurring in the night sky. Jordanian officials say the footage is related to the country’s air defense operation to intercept missiles launched by Iran.

Jordanian officials have announced that, out of a total of 20 missiles launched, 18 were intercepted by air defense systems, while the other two fell in uninhabited areas.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that, in response to U.S. attacks, it used ballistic missiles to target two U.S. destroyers and the Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, claiming that heavy damage was inflicted on the intended targets.

However, the claim that the U.S. base and destroyers sustained heavy damage has not yet been independently verified, and the accounts provided by the parties involved differ regarding the extent of the damage.

The attacks come as military tensions between Iran and the United States have sharply escalated in the region, raising new concerns about the possibility of the conflict spreading to other countries in the region.
