The Afghanistan Freedom Front has announced that its forces carried out their first guerrilla operation in Ghazni province on Friday evening, 6 Sunbula 1405.

In a statement, the front said that during the operation, Mullah Omar Siddiq, deputy of the Taliban’s 06 Hafiz Badruddin unit in Ghazni province, was targeted and killed in the Ab-Qala area of Waghaz district.

According to the statement, following the attack, Freedom Front forces also seized one light weapon and one pistol belonging to the Taliban member.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front also released a video of the attack. The video shows an armed man riding a motorcycle being shot at by individuals inside a vehicle. His body is subsequently seen lying on the ground.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front said that the incident was the front’s first guerrilla operation in Ghazni province. However, the claim that the Taliban member was killed has not yet been independently verified.
