Sadiq Khan: If Netanyahu Visits the UK, I Will Call for the ICC Arrest Warrant to Be Enforced

Sadiq Khan, the Muslim Mayor of London, has said that if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits the United Kingdom, he will urge the British government to enforce the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Speaking to British media, Khan stated, “Those accused of genocide must face justice.” He added that the UK should uphold its international obligations and enforce warrants issued by the International Criminal Court.

The International Criminal Court previously issued an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu over allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Israeli officials have rejected the allegations.
