Local Taliban authorities in Ghazni Province have confirmed that an oil tanker veered off the road,
overturned, and subsequently caught fire on Tuesday morning in Qarabagh District along the Ghazni–Kandahar Highway.
Abu Khalid Sarhadi, spokesperson for the Taliban Police Command in Ghazni, said the tanker caught fire after it lost control and left the roadway.
According to him, two people were injured in the incident and were transferred to a hospital for treatment. Their condition has been reported as stable and satisfactory.
