Taliban forces on Saturday, September 5, 2026, with a heavy military presence, surrounded the Khatam al-Nabieen Religious Seminary in Kabul and ordered the administrators and students of the institution to evacuate the seminary building.
According to sources, Taliban forces equipped with light and heavy military equipment have been deployed inside and around the seminary. Sources say the move was carried out on the orders of Abdul Hakim Sharaee, the Taliban’s Minister of Justice.
