Abdullah Khanjani, spokesperson for the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, has confirmed the death of Hasib Panjshiri, also known as “Hasib Qawa-e Markaz” and one of the senior commanders of the front.
Khanjani described Hasib Panjshiri as a “great commander.”
Meanwhile, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid also confirmed the death of the senior commander of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, saying that Hasib Panjshiri was killed by Taliban forces.
Hasib Panjshiri had been a well-known commander of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan in the years following the Taliban’s return to power and had conducted military activities against the Taliban in various areas, particularly in Panjshir Province.
