Based on preliminary information from sources affiliated with the National Hindu Kush Front, fighters from the front’s Base 02 allegedly carried out an operation against a Taliban patrol at around 1:30 a.m. on 4/5 Sunbula 1405, in the Pata Valley area of Nijrab district, Kapisa province.
According to sources affiliated with the front, the operation was carried out after a pre-planned ambush was established, and it was claimed that four Taliban members were killed and two others were injured as a result. The sources also claimed that the National Hindu Kush Front forces returned to their base after the operation without suffering any casualties.
The National Hindu Kush Front also claimed that, in response to the killing of Commander Hasib Panjshiri, forces from its Base 02 carried out four operations over the past week in the provinces of Badakhshan, Baghlan, and Kapisa.
Meanwhile, sources affiliated with the front, while introducing Commander Fazl-Rabi “Rahmani,” said that he is the son of Fazl-ur-Rahman, originally from Parwan province and residing in Khenjan district of Baghlan province. According to these sources, Rahmani served for years in the Afghan security forces before the fall of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and, following the fall of the government, joined the armed activities against the Taliban.
