Demolition of Residential Homes in West Kabul; Residents Report Beatings and Insults by Taliban

Some residents of western Kabul have shared videos reporting the demolition of their homes by Kabul Municipality personnel in District 13.

According to the residents, municipal personnel began demolishing several citizens’ homes while families were still inside.

They also allege that Taliban members insulted residents during the demolitions and beat some of them.

These actions have raised concerns among vulnerable families who, according to residents, now face the risk of homelessness following the destruction of their homes.
