Noori’s protest paintings form an important part of the message. Through these works, she portrays girls being deprived of education, restrictions imposed on women, and the pain and suffering experienced by Afghan women.
She also criticized the justification of depriving women of their rights in the name of religion, saying that the right to education and to live with dignity are fundamental rights of Afghan women and girls.
