Afghanistan National Independence Front Claims Five Taliban Members Killed in Rocket Attack in Mazar-e-Sharif

The Afghanistan National Independence Front has claimed that its forces carried out a rocket attack at around 8:30 p.m. last night against the Taliban’s Intelligence District 6 headquarters in Mazar-e-Sharif.

The front claimed that five Taliban members, including the deputy head of the group’s Intelligence District 6, identified as “Qari Nasir Ahmad Fateh,” were killed in the attack, while four other Taliban members were wounded.

According to the claim, the building and equipment of the intelligence facility also sustained financial damage.

The Afghanistan National Independence Front said in the statement that it would continue its operations against Taliban military and intelligence positions.

Meanwhile, local sources told Panah Press last night that clashes and an explosion had occurred in Mazar-e-Sharif.
