Kabul – Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban government, stated that the United Front has no meaningful military presence or operational activity in Afghanistan, describing it as nothing more than a name used on social media and in propaganda.
Mujahid made these remarks in response to reports and claims regarding the front's activities. He said that, from the Taliban government's perspective, the group has no practical role in the country's security developments and does not pose a threat to Taliban rule.
His comments come as several anti-Taliban groups have, in recent months, claimed to be continuing their operations in different parts of Afghanistan. The Taliban, however, have consistently rejected these claims, maintaining that the country's security remains fully under their control.
