Dr. Mir Abdul Karim Rahimi says that the spread of bias and intolerance in society can increase the distance between people and undermine opportunities for dialogue, understanding, and empathy.
Rahimi emphasizes that judging people before listening to and understanding each other’s views deepens divisions and makes reaching an understanding more difficult.
According to him, respecting intellectual, cultural, ethnic, and social differences is an important factor in strengthening peaceful coexistence and creating a healthy environment for dialogue in society.
He adds that in order to achieve empathy, justice, and understanding, society needs logic, dialogue, mutual understanding, and respect for differing viewpoints rather than bias and hostility.
