Sami Sadat, leader of the United Front of Afghanistan and former commander of the Afghan National Army, said in a video message that efforts to engage in dialogue with the Taliban have failed and that, according to him, the struggle for Afghanistan's freedom will continue.
In his message, Sadat accused the Taliban of widespread human rights violations, restricting citizens' fundamental freedoms, enabling the activities and return of international terrorist groups, and exploiting Afghanistan's natural resources for their own benefit.
He emphasized that the United Front will continue its activities with the goal of establishing a free Afghanistan governed by the rule of law and the will of the people. He also called on citizens to support the front. Sadat stated that the group's operations would target Taliban officials and authorities, adding that its forces are fighting "to liberate Afghanistan and secure a better future for its people."
The leader of the United Front concluded by reaffirming the continuation of the group's military activities. As of the time of publication, the Taliban had not issued any official response to Sadat's remarks.
