Hamid Khorasani, a former Taliban commander and one of the group's outspoken critics from within its ranks, said in a recent video message that despite sending several messages to senior officials in the Taliban's Ministry of Interior and expressing his willingness to cooperate, he has received no response.

In the video, Khorasani stated that under the current circumstances, the Taliban government needs his presence and cooperation. However, he claimed that "bias" has led to his messages being ignored.

He criticized Taliban officials, saying that those who fought and sacrificed for the movement have now been excluded from positions of power. Khorasani added that he had expected senior Taliban leaders to at least respond to his requests and decide whether he could play a role within the country's security structure.

The former Taliban commander has previously criticized the group's leadership on several occasions, saying that despite his participation in the Taliban's military campaigns, he currently holds no official position in the government.

As of the time of publication, the Taliban had not issued an official response to Khorasani's latest remarks.
