Fawzia Koofi, a former member of Afghanistan’s parliament, has condemned Pakistan’s recent airstrikes, stressing that civilians should never become victims of political and military failures.
In a post published on X on Tuesday, July 1, Koofi wrote that killing civilians is not an effective strategy for combating terrorism and that innocent people should never bear the cost of political or military setbacks.
She also stated, “I have yet to see a single senior Taliban leader or official targeted in Pakistan’s airstrikes.”
Her remarks come amid widespread reactions to Pakistan’s recent airstrikes in Afghanistan, as reports have emerged alleging civilian casualties.
