The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice has announced that the Special Court for Addressing Cases of State Land Usurpation in the Central Zone has officially declared 25,653 jeribs of land, known as “Customized Township and Rustam Haidari Township,” located in Kabul’s Districts 4 and 17, as state-owned property.
According to a statement released by the ministry on Saturday, the case had previously been referred to the Special Court by the Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing and the Recovery of Usurped State Lands, in accordance with Article 17 of the Law on the Prevention of Land Grabbing and the Recovery of Usurped Lands.
The statement said the court ruled that all 25,653 jeribs of the disputed land belong to the state and ordered the case to be returned to the Commission for further legal procedures.
Officials also stated that the process of investigating, verifying, and recovering allegedly usurped state lands continues across Afghanistan. They added that decisions on such cases are made after reviewing documents, evidence, and information provided by the relevant government institutions.
