Local sources told Panah Press that an explosion occurred on Saturday, August 22, near a market in the Dasht-e Barchi area of western Kabul.
According to the sources, the explosion was possibly caused by a hand grenade being thrown. Some sources said that a hand grenade struck a civilian vehicle.
Details regarding possible casualties or property damage following the incident are not yet available. Taliban officials had also not commented on the incident at the time this report was published.
